Hello there. It, again, has been awhile since either Nanda or I have posted but fret not.
I have recently been in a Beirut phase. They were just in DC playing a sold out show. Beirut is one of those bands that you really have to take time to listen to their music in order to truly appreciate it. Here's a little taste of their wonderful sound:
In other news Coachella 2009 is happening as we speak. Looking at the lineup I don't think I'd know what to do with myself if I was there. I'm not one for music festivals, but I think I could make an exception for something like Coachella.
That wasn't the greatest up date, but we'll be back sooner this time. All I have left to say is that allergy season has arrived and it's no fun, but the weather has been so lovely that I can't complain.
We are strong believers that art (in any form) makes the world a better place. And we understand that for there to be art there needs to be artists, and artists, being people, need to eat too.
so, all the music we post here is for sampling purposes. We love music to the extent that we believe that good music should be shared with others. Hopefully you will appreciate and come to love all the artists that we write about, and hopefully you too will support them.
so, uhm,...BUY THEIR STUFF...
seriously, have you seen how skinny some of these people are? stop starving the artists.
we are two of the same but different kind. In alphabetical order, there is Fernanda and there is Sasha, and we are old greg.
While living together we discovered that not only are we excellent roommates, but we also have perfect musical compatibility. With the exception, of course, of Sasha’s love of musical theater and Fernanda’s occasional listening of Cher (j/k but not really).
