I've been obsessing about this song for a while... its strange how long it took for me to get into Grizzly Bears. I think the reason is that to truly appreciate a band, you have to be in the right mindset/ mood.
I mean, I was introduced to Radiohead a long time ago, but it wasn't until last year that I really got into into them, and it wasn't until I saw them live that it became a full blown obsession.
Anyway, I just happened to stumble upon this a capella version of The Knife... besides the fact that its beautiful, I love how they are singing in the streets of Paris, and that you can tell that they feel a little self conscious about it!

Thanks for uploading this song. I really, truly enjoyed listening/watching and I think it's so subtly beautiful--I don't know how else to describe it.

ReplyDeleteThat song is just so beautiful...and its such a raw performance, but also like they just seem happy to be doing it--it just makes me smile.
I'm glad we both feel the same way. I told a bunch of my friends about it too, and hopefully it should catch on. :D
